My father was quietly hanging the clothes on the beanpole when I walked into the kitchen. Oopz I should have done the laundry earlier. But I was spared from any nagging, phew! Thats my Dad- quiet, unassuming, but faithful and hardworking...no guy i know is more hardworking than my Dad. He is a delivery driver, at it for the past 20 plus years. He is a male chauvinist, has a big ego and boasts with a laugh sometimes. But he is helpful, and always thinks of others before himself. He jokes sometimes, but I don't get it and that makes me irriatated haiz..;p It's Father's Day! My brother and I wanted to bring him out for lunch. But he refused with the classic reason- "You got a lot of money ah? If you have, save it for your marriage la.. Outside food where got nice? You know how much you spend on one meal? $4?? one week will add up to $20.. you can save more if you eat at home...and it always ends up this way (sigh and haha..it's very funny as I reflec...
