My Grandpa passed on last Sun night. Though we were all prepared for the worst, everybody was very sad. We couldn't bear to let him go. My grandpa is a good man. Quiet and reserved, he speaks alot only when he's angry. He's a dutiful and caring husband and I remember him cooking for the family when my grandma was sick. He did the groceries when she could not walk long distances anymore. He doted on me and always bought me breakfast. I remember that he would be the first to wake up and make coffee-old style with sock-for everybody. When I attended kindergarten and pri sch he'd wait for me and fetch me home. I became known as the student whose grandfather waited for after school. He's always shaking his leg while smoking a cigarette. And he loves "brick game"! But after a fall in the toilet followed by an operation he could no longer walk as much and became very pessimistic. He withdrew into his shell and seldom spoke. Sometimes he refused to ea
