connecting evangelism

Today, I taught "Connecting Evangelism". It was really fun to go through GIG (Group Investigating God) even with Christian students. Hearing us share our thoughts and whys was great, it surprised me how differently we all think! We've been talking about evangelism on campus and how increasingly lifestyle evangelism is much more effective then street witnessing (but I'm still for it heh). If only we can spark spiritual conversations with non-Chrisitians more easily! Looked up this really great webbie by Dr Dave Gielser about conversational evangelism. I'm really hoping to get him teach the students conversational e! http://www.meeknessandtruth.org/index.htm After that we had kfc for dinner! Cheezito is yummy.. if u love chicken n cheese.

He uses the imperfect

This week was Staff Summit at Safra. I've had so much fun and also much needed rest with 100+ other Crusade staff! I felt very blessed by the presence of other older Crusade staff. Uncle Sank and his wife are already on staff for 36 years and still going..That really inspires me to stay for the long haul, if God willing. More and more I realise God is gently using people around me-group mates, friends, students, family- to sand-paper my rough edges. And ouch..it's painful! But I'm growing to appreciate that we are all imperfect creations that God puts together for His purpose. And thats so humbling and so wonderful. As I realise more and more too how much ministry and my life is about who God is and not who I am- I'm awed. I enjoyed the morning worship sessions alot. It really warmed my heart to feel God's assurance that I'm loved by Him-not the way others may/ may not love. Hmm this Sat, I've invited two of my non-Chrisitan friends to join me in a win

thanksgivings!

Today, one of my young adults group leader, Uncle R approached me and said, "I just want to bless you with this." It was $200 cash.. I had been praying to raise ministry funds for TP & RP, and how God really answered! Not only did I receive this blessing from Uncle R, a student whom I met during our prayer meeeting gave me a love gift too, and it was the same amount that I had given to a fellow friend in need a few weeks ago! This morning I had been feeling down and as I listened to a message online, God comforted me through it. It was about Rom 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good." My father has been having chest pains but refuses to see the doctor. It's been rather worrying for me and my brother. Really praying that he will be willing to go. I'm assured that God knows what is going on and though it I'm also learning to trust in Him:)
