psalms

Been reading through Psalms.. its a great book with great verses that inspire praise and prayer from the heart. "Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven." Ps 148:13 Uplifted my weary spirit as I'm reminded of the focus of ministry-God and His glory- His Word and His ways. "Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling His Word!"Ps 148:7

movie & makan

This May is probably most packed with celebrations! After helping out at SOLEAD graduation, I chiohed my bro, cousins n aunt for movie n dinner, to celebrate my bro's n cousin's birthdays. I was coughing throughout sigh but really thought it was a gd time of being together since we were busy with our own stuff most of the time. After the long 3hr show, we brought hungry Aaron to Makan Sutra n later ice cream at Hagen Daz.. Then comes Lee Huan's birthday party! Itz the first time I organised a birthday party. And it being a 21st birthday I really hoped it will be special for her. It was fun but at times stretching. Lee Huan really looked pretty in her retro style make up n hair do. She shared her thanks to Mum n family members, friends and to God too:)

I'm bad at jokes, so I'm really amazed how Glenn, my fellow labourer in TP ministry makes us laugh! Glenn's really been a great help and God-sent in the guys' discipleship. Took a video of him and the guys promoting "I-Chopsticks" -lame but hilarious. I-Chopsticks

A funeral, A wedding, 2 friends going overseas, A sickness, A mis-understanding. How to feel when they happen at the same time?

gerbera

My team mate Amber gave me this nice pink gerbera on a busy, tiring day of ministry and it really warmed my heart. It inspired me to buy a flower too for my grandma on Mother's Day! And I should have taken a pic of the smile she had when I gave her a stalk of red carnation.

good endings

One day when DL Moody was preaching in a church in England, he felt an iciness in the congregation he could not melt. He left the pulpit feeling leaden and stolid. The Spirit had not moved. All afternoon, Moody dreaded returning to preach at the evening service. However, something dramatic happened in the evening service. It began with a look of warmth on a single face, then it spread. Moody felt, and saw it surging like a tide on the faces of the people before him. There was a great outpouring of the Spirit and crowds of people streamed into the aisles to accept Christ. The people begged Moody to stay on. He promised to return to them after an engagement in Scotland. Upon his return, he heard what had happened. Moody called upon a church member who was an invalid and discovered that she had read of his work and had been praying for months that God would send him to stir the smouldering coals of faith in her church. Her sister had returned home from church after Moody firs
