Once more, a year is reaching its last hours. 2005 contains many 'firsts' which have most affected and moulded me. As I look back, I'm thankful to my awesome God.. Jan - Tsunami Booklet distribution in campuses. Feb - Start of Republic Poly ministry Mar - bought a new cupboard for my room:) Apr - First time on mission trip to Mongolia, Christopher passes away. First mission trip for RP students. May - graduated from New Staff Training! CSU staff conference Sept- SMU Vision Tea, first TP/RP chalet Nov - finally got an oven, start of Irene's Confectionary hee.. Dec - First family trip to Malacca Here's my yr-end ministry newsletter.. ps: the pic of the sky was taken while on the plane back home from CSU. It reminds me of God's wonder and greatness.. it is with this thought that I face 2006. Though at times anxious about the future, I'm assured that He is bigger and more than able to carry me through it. Blessed 2006!

Wedding in Malacca

Last weekend, I went to Malacca with my family to attend my cousin's wedding. This was the first time I've gone overseas with my family. Actually, the week before had been a very tiring week of cold war between me and my Dad over some very trivial misunderstanding. Though I was reluctant to go at first, I must say I'm glad I went. It was a precious time of getting to know my relatives more. I had fun too taking pics of my uncles, aunties, and cousins.

yea she came!

What a night! I went to an evangelistic concert "Coming Home" (at Bethesda Cathedral) with my aunt tonight. I was so surprised that she readily agreed to come with me when I called her this morning. She enjoyed the musical, and could even relate well with the characters. There was an altar call and though she did not raise her hand, I sensed that she was receptive. After that, we talked about sin, confession and Jesus. While she has not received Jesus into her life, I know that tonight was a breakthrough, praise God! I really want to kick myself for not having a camera with me just now. Not only did I miss taking a pic with my aunt, I missed the beautiful stage shots and also that with one of RP guys who was in the choir! Sigh.. but really I thank God for the opportunity to share the gospel with my aunt in this way.
