persistent

"Did I perplex people who couldn't quite comprehend my determination?
I must have, but I'm thankful for the times in my life when I've been
persistent." Lori Wick

Yes I must have perplexed my close ones when I chose and continue to be
doing what I'm doing-'charity work, getting low pay etc..'

I'm learning recently about persistence, to "run with the endurance
the race set before us" (heb 12:1). That the author said she was
thankful for the times in her life when she had been persistent
surprised me.

I've never thought that persistance was any thanksgiving,
but like the author, i guess i would if i continue to run with
persistence:)
